However, I LOVE my babies and cherish and each every one of them! With the promise of winter to come soon and the promise of winter depression to follow, I have decided that I have room in my heart and now in my home to adopt some babies if anyone has babies to share. I grow mostly hoyas, crown of thorns, christmas cactus and have recently expanded into a few Oxalis. I have 1 Epi that was an unrooted cutting from E-Bay 2 years ago that has a few new leaves and a Ric Rac cactus that can't decide if it wants to die or not. I've been trying to grow a lipstick plant and PP Philadendron but am not sure how I'm doing with either yet as the lipstick has never bloomed and the Philadendron keeps getting brown spots (recently repotted so I have my fingers crossed). Most of my babies are quite small and therefore not big enough to share yet (although I'm taking really good care of them and hope that someday they will be big enough to send to others). With that being said, I would love to fill my Epi pot some more and think that I would like to try a Queen Ann's Tears? I know there are many flowering houseplants out there that I have yet to discover and would LOVE to try something new. I am "rooting challenged" for the most part so anything that already has roots is probably in my best interest *lol*. I kill every African Violet I look at for some reason and can't seem to stop watering cactus too much so I know those are out of the question for me :( With funds being tight right now, I have decided to part with a few of my "kreations". I made a beautiful hat last year which has been in a bag under the bed ever since. It would fit a lady with a medium to large head. I have attached pictures of my daughter displaying it. I also have 2 extra beaded plant hangers that I made. One is blue and yellow and one is purple, blue, pink . The blue and yellow one is the shorter of the two. I can give more details if either of these interest you please D-Mail me. I will close this thread Sunday night and hope that I can successfully adopt some new babies :) Hope to hear from you, Kim |
