Oh...my broccoli was wonderful. I need to try some fall veggies. I'll take out the zuc and put beets or something there. My DB has 6 zuc plants!!! I told them...you will have enough for all of Whatcom County:) I too grew up eating right out of the garden. Every year I find carrots that I can pull, wipe off and eat. I love peas off the vine and cherrie tomatoes. My tomatoes are still green but I do have a few.
