Suzi, I don't want to see my electric bill either...last month it was $161 (gas and electric arre conbined) and then the really hot weather hit. I'll sit down before I open it. Would have been a great summer to use solar energy

Darius, if Gracie hasn't gotten any larger I suspect more than before that she's just got worms. They can distend the belly a lot. Are her ....dare I say it without being chastized by Admin?) uhhhh milk spouts...(snicker) showing any signs of engorgement? Hope your A/C is up and running by tonight. I'm going to try the peach melba jam/jelly/preserves since I got that nice supply of raspberries from our neighbor. They aren't very seedy, so I probably will just toss them in whole.

Maria, the pictures are beautiful. I'll bet you have a lot more to show us. I'm it's at least 20* cooler in WA right now. Has Samson settled down yet. He's probably not to anxious to get out in the heat either.

OK here's the end result of my hour and a half of beauty torture. Gonna go finish my book and hope DH wants to go grab a burger tonight, and doesn't decide to cut the lawn in this heat. He is obsessed.
