I thought it would be pretty to sink some pots of impatiens in the chips for some added color. But, if the chips bring more weeds I don't know if I want that kind of work. I'm not sure about putting the landscape fabric down, seems it would be hard around the roots. But I guess we better decide before we get the chips.
