Lilies: First Lily to bloom, 0 by SnowBird56

Has anyone heard of this happening before..The 1st picture is of this year and the second I took last year. I hope someone also can tell me what it is since I lost the tag. I bought the plant several years ago and have slit it up a few times and so far they are all this yellow color..It is still pretty.
