It was a bigger hummer, like a buff belly or rufous. I think it's a female rufous, but I just can't tell. Its back and wings were greenish gold in the sun, the belly was tan/gray and it had a big black spot on its breast. The wings had white stripes. It sat on the limb long enough for me to go inside and get the camera and take three pictures. The pictures aren't the best, the wind was blowing pretty hard and the limb it was sitting on was bobbing really bad.
Oh, it's beak was all black.
