Bamabell, Patootie is right. I dont know why the dutch put in the "atro" it has nothing to do in the name. It should only say Rhodochiton sanquineum. Its a vigorous vine that reaches 10 feet but many here in Europe grow them in hanging baskets. And I think that it is a perennial in your zone, atleast it is in zones that dont get frost or only get the odd light frost.

Ron, it really have nice separated petals and the petals doesnt seem to be as sticky as the other Morning Glorys I have.
Here is what I woke up to see this morning. Look at the bud to the right. :0))
