I do not know the Hoodie Hoo
Not sure what it is you do.
Stamp your feet and yell real loud
All alone or in a crowd?

What fate befalls to those who pass?
Three more months to freeze your ***?
Extra weeds in garden beds?
Getting mud in your new Keds?

Oh please help me, tell me true,
how to do the hoodie hoo,
Lest my fate be cast in stone,
Which will cause a mournful moan.

There, I've punished you enough, but what in Sam Hill is a hoodie hoo? Never heard of it.

It's dark enough out here in the sticks to see the stars and the autumn moon looks like you could reach up and touch it. Still too many driveway lights to suit me.

Yeah, Sarv, get a new computer. Maria said so. I said so. Does anybody else think she should. Let's have a show of hands. SEE! Everybody wants you to get a new one. Maybe your MIL would like to ask someone else to take her for her lab work, or she could call a cab? She shouldn't use you for a gripe session about your DH, tell her to take it up with him. She gives me a headache and I don't even know her. No wonder you ended up with a migraine.

Darius, do you feel better? You've been working so hard, maybe it's catching up with you. I hope you took the day off and rested.

GG 'fess up? Did you go to a garden shop? I haven't been to Eau Claire in years and years (like maybe fifty?) I'll bet it has changed a lot. My old high school town hasn't changed hardly at all. New motel and post office is about it.

Welcome Loretta, Briar Rose and Laurie, this is the right place for you if you are a bubble off of level, and willing to share your thoughts, not to mention cyber treats. And Laurie, 45 is not OLD, my DS will be 50 next month, and I'm not old. I'm counting my birthdays backwards now because I've run out of my own fingers and toes, plus my DH's, my DD's and half of my DS's.

Dmcd. power on!! We haven't lost power since we built out here, and have yet to use that huge expensive generator that we bought, just in case we did. Kind of like taking an umbrella to forestall rain. No, Sammi does not get a new tissue box. He's found other amusements, like opening the doors of the hutch, walking behind the computer, helping me with the keyboarding, and such. When he wants some attention, he'll sit by my feet and make pitiful little squeaks until I pick him up. Not too spoiled.

McCool post that link showing your beautiful candles for our new visitors/lurkers/friends. They will be amazed at your imaginative creations!

Waving hello at the rest of the gang. Sammi just jumped up here and I better get off before he makes this whole thing go POOOOF!

Almost done with the drapes. Not doing that again soon. Sewing gives me a backache. To say nothing of all the ups and downs on the step stool.

Nite Gracie....
