Back in '98-'99 we had horrible Gypsy moth infestations. coupled with droughts thousands of oaks and beeches were killed. The woods are regenerating, I must say being also a native orchid nut the years following with the brighter light penetration the native orchids and wildflowers have been spectacular! |
