You can stop sending that white stuff up here, it's been coming down in little pellets all morning, and blowing like crazy. Was going to go out and pick up ink for my printer which is behaving badly but took one look out the door and changed my mind. Wrapped some gifts, packed up cookie gift tins, picked up dead leaves from my ficus which hates to be moved. Called a friend who is still working...asked if they were going to let everyone go home early...I know, that was bad.

Taking a page out of Sarv's book, I made myself a roast pork sandwich for breakfast..nothing else looked good, and I was hungry.

Elaine's having so much fun scanning everything in her cupboard! I'm willing to bet we are enjoying it just as much as she is.

Maria, Samson's internal clock is set wrong! I don't know that there's much you can do about that. Friend of mine said that there is a study going on about dogs, something about when they are excited and panting, that's a form of laughter for them. Tested dogs at a pound who were howling and unhappy, played a tape of dogs panting happily, and the kennel dogs calmed right down. I know for certain, they look like they are smiling when they do that! DS and DlL are enjoying Howard, although the cats are still a little shy.

I suppose if you have to catch something nasty, it's better to get it over with now, rather than closer to Christmas. Sorry you have to go through it though, and hope it all gets better soon.

Woke up at 4 am with DH snoring away like a hibernating bear, he never snores that I'm aware of. Gave him a little poke and he stopped but I couldn't go back to sleep. I'd better not think about napping, or it will be a sleepless night tonight so I'm going to try to keep busy. No problem, I could rake the floor, whre did all this crud come from?

Yes, I saw one of the evening news programs tlaking about how much mercury and contaminants are in fish. jSalmon is the least troublesome. They talked about some varieties that you could onlly safely eat a half portion once a week. They didn't mention shell fish so either it wasn't tested or isn't a problem. I'm choosing to believe it is not a problem. Until I find out otherwise. LOL

Back to work! Have a cookie before I pack them all up....

Sheila (keyboarding getting better.)
