In Columbus,Ohio (not sure how far that is from you) anyhow,in the beginning of November there is a HUGE poultry show at the fair grounds.You can find all kinds of chickens for sale there and even some equiptment.Its called the Ohio National We go to it every few years You can walk thru the show,pick out the breeds you like,go into the sale building,and see if anyone has stock for sale(Thousands of birds there) ,buy the birds there,and fill the coop!!!!! If you get breeds that go broody you won't have to put eggs in your cleavage...always a plus..... |
