I was born and raised in Texas, then moved to Tennessee about 6 years ago. I've been married to my wonderful DH nearly 22 years and, although I don't have children of my own, I have two wonderful grown step daughters, no grandchildren yet. I used to work as a legal secretary for one of the major oil corporations, then moved into the systems department doing systems support and training. I haven't worked since moving to TN (can't get employment if you aren't looking, lol!). For the last few years I've been volunteering at a local nursing home, I've taken up sewing again now that I have time, and my neighbor and I enjoy going to garage sales when the weather is nice. To us, it's more of a social activity because we enjoy all the people we meet. And, of course, I enjoy gardening and my inside plants (mostly hoyas now!).
