Marsha that is a real 'pioneers cabin'! Its lovely, your DH must be a very handy handyman.
I second Blooms question. Go with him, new doors open when old ones close, but you have to grasp the nettle and go through them yourself. Its nerve wracking letting go of the world your comfortable with and moving into the unknown. I know because we just did it - We moved across the Atlantic, to this strange country where 'fanny' isn't a rude word, because its on the opposite side of the anatomy to where it was in the UK. When I call it a 'bum', I get funny looks, cos that apparantly is a rude word?? But the adjustment is worth it, I'm getting to know some great folk and I haven't lost anything either, email and letters still work!! I say go for it.
The picture is our other two grandchildren, almost 9 and 11, our daughters babies in the UK. We have to keep popping back to see them or have them over here but I reckon we have seen more of them since we moved than when they were the other end of the same country!!

Aria our 'littlest DGD' is a real handful!! Charming and sweet but very strong willed and determined. She is a tough cookie too, didn't cry when she fell into a red ant nest and got bitten all over, and that must have really been bad for days. She hasn't quite worked out how we all relate yet - she calls DH 'Grannies Grandad', he says that really makes him feel old!
Of now to deal with the washing
