Hap,I wouldn't want to cause any friction, but when a person retires they deserve several months to acclimate to the new hours. Sort of like getting over jet lag ? Any man that can't take care of himself isn't a man.

My DW, the sweetest,hardest working,most tolerant and sensible person on earth lets me get away with so much.We try to share the load, but she outdoes me most of the time.My house cleaning and laundry skills are lacking so she does them rather than having to do them over. It really is unfair isn't it, this gender gap.
Got another bunch of lumber to work on the arbor.Hope to get it finished this week.Saw a sign for local strawberries today.Thought rain had ruined the crop but looks like there is some hope.Love those fresh berries.
