I'm sure that the majority of them became fish food, though. The bass and bluegills love them, and what the fish don't eat the herons and other birds get. I'm hoping at least a few made it. I guess that's why mother nature gives them the ability to reproduce by the thousands. My sweety got a great shot of a heron last week... |
