In my experience, this vine does best in part shade or full shade so underneath a tree is perfect. The vines are so light and delicate it will not smother your tree. Be sure to wear gloves when handling the vines because the tiny hairs along the vines can irritate your skin. This picture below shows my vine climbing my magnolia trees. I pulled the vines down and wrapped the around the arbor in the picture. |
