She was small and healthy when she arrived April 6. She never missed a beat and is a little over three feet tall and four and one half feet wide, with a nice fat, fuzzy trunk with pups popping up beneath her. I LOVE her huge, blue toned, nicely serrated leaves and if that's not enough, she likes sun and is not a bug magnet!!! The only spot she has on a leaf is hail damage and one small stick fell on her, drats. I'm growing her for a friend, to see how she likes southeast Arky. I have quite a lot of guests, friends, neighbors, family, and they have watched my progression with brugs, and they say this one is the best, by far, they've seen in my garden - we all think she is special, as is the dear friend who sent her to me!!! |
