If you walk on them, the area presses down, then springs back up. I have a sprinkler system connected to the sewer. However, the problem is not around all the heads, just one. Another strange thing: all over the yard single stolons are coming up, growing over a few inches of the other grass, then reattaching themselves. I think in general the front yard is weird!!
