I belong to a Plumeria forum on another site, and I never thought to ask for one here because of the same issues that Candy mentioned. Plumerias are beautiful and exciting for only about five months of the year for most people, and they are dormant during the colder months. There aren't a lot of growers of plumerias right now, but more are coming all the time. I was really excited when Dave gave us our own plumeria forum. I think the same thing would happen with an Epi forum, and I agree with Karen that we could talk about related things when they are not actively blooming. Maybe it should be called a Orchid Cacti forum and should include Hylocereus, Selenicereus, and Epiphyllums. It could also include Chrismas Cactus and Rhipsalis, and all things generally called Orchid Cacti. But, if Dave is busy with other stuff right now, then maybe we can ask at a later time if everyone is interested in one. For me personally -- and please don't take this the wrong way -- when I go to the Cactus and Succulents Forum, I skim the threads until the word "Epiphyllum" or "Selenicereus" or "Night-blooming Cacti" catches my eye, and I read those. I like some other cacti and succulents, but I am most interested in the different types of Orchid Cacti.

Here is my bud today. It's pink!
