In fact, we thought about moving it to the back fence, and replacing it with a bushy type rose. My cousin told me to wait until fall. I was even thinking of gettin rid of it. We never got around to it, but I did cut it back, and buried some of the cuttings in the ground. It came back bushier and new stems grew from the cuttings and filled it out nicely, so we bought a trellis for it, and decided to leave it there.

A couple of days ago, my neighbor and I were talking, and she mentioned that little rose bush. She said that the previous owner (deceased now) really loved that rose, and she just babied it. Now, I'm so glad we didn't get rid of it. I'm happy with it just where it is.

The yellow roses in the background were just purchased Wednesday. I decided they'd make a good container rose....
