I will tell you that the instructions leave a lot to be desired. I think they say it will take around 6 hours to put it together. DO NOT believe this. It took DH 2 days of working on it steadily to get it put together. It comes in a gazillion pieces and was a little hard at times to slide the pieces together. Don't tell but DH had to take apart once because he was not following directions as to what piece should go where and in what order -so that did add a little time on to it. But there is no way in this world I think anyone could put that together in 6 hours. It is not double pane, and the plastic is kind of flimsy, but I have had no trouble with it not being sturdy enough. They claim it will withstand 90 mph winds -not so sure about that, but it does fine with the 40-50 mph winds we get sometimes, and it did fine with the snow we got, which was not very much. The stakes that come with it and the base seem to do just fine, and it appears to be sturdy. I used a small electric heater in February, and the temps stayed around 55 in the GH while it was in the 20s outside. I am curious to see how it will do when we get the really cold temps -I want to overwinter some of my plants in there, but with temps that could drop below zero, I am a little hesitant. I really cannot think of any negative things that I have encountered, barring the instruction thing. This is a pic right after he got it put together. He put it together on the patio, and then we carried it out to its location in the middle of the yard. It still had the plastic protection on so it looks cloudy. Cindy |
