Julie, the buds that you posted over at the old thread are cool! They look great! I agree with Candy that your cacti is probably Hylocereus undatus. I have that one too. It could also be Hylocereus polyrhizus, which is very similar in flower, but the fruit has red flesh inside. The picture of the fruit over at PlantFiles is not right, I don't think.
