Finally thinking, I had opened a window and pushed the screen out on the opposite side of the house where Molly is waiting. Anyway, this all took a minute. I scooped this one up and placed him on the open window sill. I was so afraid I had squeeshed him. I was trying to be so gentle. At first I thought his wing was too mangled. For he just laid there, see second picture. Then he perked up and moved to look outside.
