Linda: Well, I'll be!!! Learning something about above and below the "Y" and equal and unequal leaves. I didn't know that and it will be useful, thanks for that info. Also about the branch "dying back". I wouldn't have thought of that! Good to know. I'll be an expert before ya know it. Thanks so much Linda for the photos and the lesson. Much appreciated.

Sandy: I got my Isabella plant (above) at the beginning of October. It was already about 2 1/2 ft high when I got it, (counting the root ball) Lost all of it's leaves and then quickly grew new ones and shot up another foot since then. My seedlings are coming along. I have a Rose of Sharon that is coming along nicely. Two other of those seedlings died??? My Apple Blossom Brug seedlings are all coming along nicely. I still have a half dozen or so in the tray covered with Saran until they have all 4 leaves (thet're gettin' there, and three seedling that are in their own pot on "the outside" that are doing ok. So far so good, anyway. I lost a couple of them when I transplanted. There again,...???? I also have two other Brug cuttings, (October ) a Knightii and a CG that are healthy and growing well. Here are some pictures: First my Charles Grimaldi (and Callie wanted equal time!)
