The party was a big success. The powerpoint presentation was 77slides long---lasting about 20 minutes. I used 2 songs for the presentation. The first part of the presentation looped Enya's "only time" three times. Once the slides switched over to the Grandchildren and great grandchildren the presentation kicked off with IZ's "Over the rainbow/What a wonderful world. The presentation ended with the fading out of this song. The second to the last slide of the entire presentation is pictured below. It is a picture of my mother's dad in an old photo saying "cheers" at a Christmas party. I labeled the slide--
"Here's to you, Carol. Happy 75th Birthday." My mom's cousin in the photo was there and had never seen this photo--so it was an extra surprise.
For the background music we used a CD called "great girl singers", a double CD called the "Crooners" and several Christmas CD's. I'm still getting hugs for the party.
