Good luck with the move. It is often considered a very high stressor. I always helped other people move with my truck but when it came time for me to move, nobody would help. I would only do it now if I am properly paid for my time, my truck, gas and labour.
My mind and life is all about plants. I can't help it. So I now have a "Jack & the bean stalk" tree in the front yard. It's Paulownia kawakamii, which is a critically endanger species in habitat. Better to grow this one than the invasive P. tomentosa. It really looked sickly so I eventually found a pdf instructing me to cut the trunk to the ground and leave 1 bud. Leaves are huge and the trunk is over 2" width. It grows taller every day. I even rooted some cuttings which I couldn't believe they took. Finally they are paving the road out-front this Friday. Grit dust is everywhere. All the plants and vehicles have a thick covering of dust. My truck died today which is a bummer as a friend had just done some trimming on his Iochroma australe & Fabiana imbricata ‘Violacea’, both of which I really, really want cuttings. I don't know why my truck refused to run but I lost out on the cuttings as a result. I guess the best of today was attempting to pull all the fireweed from inside the greenhouse. Slow big job.
