We had our first sizeable snow for the season. They had been predicting up to 1ft of snow, but as of this morning only 3\" the weatherman is saying. But, it\'s really wet and heavy. It took me 45 minutes to get the driveway shovelled, I called in to work, just to check, since the roads hadn\'t been plowed lately. I was expecting either the usual message saying to leave a message or call during work hours, but someone answered the phone and said, yes, we were open. Drove 45 minutes, a usual 20 minute drive, a couple of roads were closed because of accidents, but I made it, only to be greeted in the parking lot by one of the shop supervisors. The power was out, and they sent everyone home! Took me another 45 minutes to get home, a small chip in my windshield ended up cracking when I went over some train tracks. Guess I shouldn\'t have put off getting that fixed! Dogs are enjoying the snow, and as long as I can stay inside, it\'s really pretty!
