For starters, let me apologize now for panicking the way that I did when I noticed it had mandibles and killing it! I\'m not sure if these photos are any help but it\'s worth a try. So I live in a suburb little town on the outskirts of Baltimore County in Maryland! I do have bushes out front my home, however, this little guy was found this afternoon inside the house, crawling on the back of my shoulder blade! What I did notice was that when I accidentally killed him, it happened with a terrible \"pop\" feeling and not a \"crunch/crack\" feeling which also made me question the body of this bug. As you can see it does have mandibles and the fluid from its body was thick, black, and glossy that appeared to be a very dark brown once smeared on a napkin. Any help at all would be GREAT! Thank you and again, I\'m SO SORRY for the condition of the bug and the photos!
