I mentioned my step-daughter had done a work study program in Greece and developed a passion for Greek food. Yes, I would like to know how to cook with the leaves. It would be fun to serve Melinda a dish made from seeds sent to her from Athens and grown by her mother. That is fantastic you feel stable enough to drive. Carrie, you\'ve known me long enough to know I was teasing you on the other thread, right? We haven\'t been gossiping about you. There was little activity of any kind until you showed up. That\'s the first time Katiebear chimed in on that thread. It\'s a house cleaning day. It\'s muddy outside and we are expecting more rain. My online weather source says a La Mina is developing. That explains the cooler than normal temps. The only new daylily bloom today is an \'October Fest\', but \'Strawberry Candy\', \'Clockwork Orange\' and \'Mama\'s Cherry Pie\' are still blooming. Here\'s a true lily (Lilium species) for you, TTC. We added more true lilies this Spring, but it doesn\'t look like many will flower this season. Well, back to cleaning. (sigh) I am manfully doing the laundry and showing my masculine bravery by deep cleaning the room Tigger used. Neatness was not one of her strong traits. (Jim) |
