It is not just the water of the patio roof that flows into the gutter--
it is also all the water from that part of the roof on the house.
I think it all is just too much for one drain to handle--so it overflows.

May have to borrow my neighbor's extension ladder again and see
what is clogging up the gutter drain. Usually, stuff from the trees.
