I got smaller ones (quarts, I think) from MamaJack a while back for maybe half that... but I had to be patient and wait a few years for blooms. GT, I've got lovely little plants in my winter-sowed containers of Asclepias perennis and Asclepias purpurea, both seeds from you. Thanks! Another SDB iris along the front walk. 'Rembrandt' tulips are finishing up now... I really liked them, such fun colors! Joyanna delivered some of those $1 bargain 'Pink Wave' petunias up and down the block... she marched right up to front doors, rang the bell, and presented the pots with a smile and "this is for you -- Happy Mother's Day!" Joyanna took this photo of the variegated Weigelia in full bloom. This box of daffodils (arranged in 4 vases) went up to Pittsburgh with me for my niece's First Communion. I estimated about 100 stems. We picked similar amounts (with the help of neighbor kids) several times this season, barely making a dent in the display out back. Fun! |
