M, your Murray story is not singular. We had a similar story and so have many friends. It\'s little consulation but was reassuring to know it happens to loving parents too. As for DGD, not finishing school is the most troubling scenerio because options become limited but it sounds like part of the package.

We have been getting much needed rain in the form of afternoon thunderstorms. Very nice for the garden. Been mid to high nineties every day though. The garden is full of goodies. I so love to go out and pick in the morning, gloat over the bounty on the counters and create a meal that started months ago with a few seeds.

Sharing pics of Lil\'E fishing on Maypop pond this past weekend and the whole wheat boule I baked last night. Going to eat it along with a selection of near vegetarian dishes tonight.
