The legs are banded white and brown below the middle spurs.

Taken on 23rd July 2008. Feeding on Achillea in the daytime.

Larvae feed on Tanacetum vulgare, overwintering around the roots, then mining up a new shoot in the spring.

On 30th July 2008. This has to be a male, with a slimmer abdomen.
