Taken on 11th August 2008, Lincoln UK. At night on the window outside, with many gnats! Fairly common in rough grassland where it feeds on the flowers and fruits of a range of plants.

Length is 6-7mm, adults from June to October. Absent from the north of Britain. Info from britishbugs.org.uk

The basal antennal segments on this species are thicker than the darker, but similar P. ulmi.
