Taken on 24th August 2008, Lincoln UK. Similar to the Field Grasshopper but with mottling, antennae on male clubbed at ends but less noticeable on females.

Colour varies from brownish grey to green or a mixture, this one has some green on the lower half not visible from above. The white line separates it from the brown form of Chorthippus parallelus.
