Taken on 28th July 2008, Lincoln UK. Attracted to light, it was walking on the window late at night. They feed mainly on Oak.

Wings are mainly green, but they can be brownish making it difficult to identify. I had one with brown-green wings on the same night.

The eyes glow bright red with a flash! It's face is mottled with brown on a yellowish base colour.
