Taken on 26th April 2008, Lincoln UK. Crawling on the window outside at night. I noticed the first ones late in 2007, by autumn there was around a dozen on my door and coming inside.

This is a melanic form, not to be mistaken for the melanic 2 spot ladybird where the front red spots touch the sides near the pronotum. Legs and antennae are brown on the Asiatic ladybird.
