Spotted Pintail Beetle on carrot flowers in my garden in Churchill, Victoria, Australia, 13th January 2010

Found at Upper Beaconsfield, Australia in January 2011. It was sitting on a Cassinia aculeata flower. It is 12mm long.

After the insect gained confidence the head became obvious.
