Asiatic garden beetle

Last year I discovered this beetle in my garden. It is actively feeding at night. It is very fond of my Montauk daisies and other Chrysanthemum family flowers, also raspberrries, Obedient plant, peach trees, potatos, and Centaurea montana. One or two beetles were also seen on other various plants in the garden.
To hand pick, go out after dark on a summer night and look. I just got about fifty tonight.
Larva feed on roots of ornamentals (rather than grass roots like Japanese beetles.)
This beetle was introduced in Northeast US in the 1920s and has spread from there, south at least to South Carolina and west at least into Indiana.
