This pretty little beetle is the one that has devastated elm trees in England and all over Europe. It is known in the Melbourne area in Australia and is a threat to elm trees everywhere.

Unexpected in Morwell National Park here in Victoria, Australia, where there are no elm trees, but it was attracted to a light (used to attract moths) on the Stringybark Ridge Track on 11th January 2010
