These guys are very similar to the Pearl Crescent (P. tharos) and is reported to resemble the Northern Crescent (P. cocyta), even more so.

Some aid in identifying the (P. incognitus) from the Pearl, is the (P. incognitus) having a combination of red-orange on the underside of the antennal clubs in the males, larger size (than Pearl), with its tendency to flying somewhat higher off the ground than the Pearl, and even up into the subcanopy.
